Welcome
to the Rolando area of San Diego California. The Rolando
Village community built mostly between 1939 and 1945,
is cherished for it's rolling hills, curved streets,
1920's street lights, great views and location. The
original 5 subdivisions of 654 lots are bounded by
College Ave. to the west, El Cajon Blv. to the north,
University Ave to the south and the San Diego city
boundaries to the east.
A
more recent addition to the area is the Ray and Joan
Kroc community center. Built with a generous $87 million
dollar gift to the Salvation Army. The center houses
an ice skating rink, gymnasium, 3 pools, skateboard
park, education and performing arts center. And of
course the on going San Diego State University additions
and planned business centers, along with the trolley
extension.
We are about 10 minutes from downtown, 15 from our
great beaches and right next to San Diego State University.
